Does ISO 37014 reach your group, and what is missing?
No account and no email. Seven answers about your group and your next review, read against the draft's own definition and the ISO 37004 model it builds on. The check does not score you, does not call you compliant, and does not ask for a file.

How the check decides
The check first applies the draft's definition: a controlled group needs two or more entities, one controlling member stakeholder with ultimate control of their governing bodies, and a group purpose set by that controller. If the control answer is no, or no group purpose has been set, the verdict is out of scope as described, because an element of the definition is absent. If the control answer is not sure, or the role is not sure, the verdict is conditional and names the fact to confirm. If the definition is met, four answers are scored from 0 to 2 each: whether the group purpose is recorded (it must be, to pass the definition), whether maturity has been evaluated, whether all three aspects are rated, and whether the six-point scale is used. The maximum is 8. A score of 7 or more reads ready to formalise, 4 to 6 reads prepare, and under 4 reads start now. A missing date, or a date in the past, returns scope incomplete and names the answer that is missing. Nothing is assumed and nothing is sent to a server.
The check is a reading of your answers against the draft's definition and the published model. It does not audit you, it does not score your governance and it does not call you compliant. A verdict of out of scope is a statement about the definition, not about the quality of your governance.
What this check will not do
- It will not read your entity list, your board papers or any other file. There is no upload and no account.
- It will not tell you that you are compliant, certified or ready for an audit. It places three actions against a date.
- It will not replace the governing body's judgement about what level is appropriate.
- It will not predict the publication date. The planning date is our estimate and is labelled as such.
