What this site keeps, and where
The record and the free check need no account. The check runs in your browser and sends nothing. If you buy the kit or the watch, Stripe takes the payment and the account is created from the email you give there. This page says what is kept and who can see it.
The free check
Your seven answers and the review date are read by JavaScript in your browser. They are not sent to our servers and not written to a cookie. The result puts them in the address bar so you can share or bookmark it, and that stays in your browser. The page does not ask for your name, your email or a file. If you print the result, the print stays on your device.
Where it is kept and who can see it
Pages are served by Cloudflare. Saved work and accounts sit in Supabase in Sydney (AWS ap-southeast-2), encrypted at rest and in transit. Payments are taken by Stripe. Sign-in and receipt mail go through SendGrid. Those four are the only processors. Saved work is kept until you delete it or close the account. Support opens a saved record only on your request.
The site sets one small cookie, va, to count an anonymous visit and attribute a checkout to the page that led to it; it lasts a year, is HttpOnly, and holds no name or email. Shopping and account pages add the session cookie that keeps you signed in, for up to ninety days. There is no advertising cookie and no tracking pixel in the page HTML. Cloudflare, which serves the pages, may record aggregate request data of its own; it is not used by this site to identify a person.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of what is kept about you, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing to support@theartofservice.com.
- Cancel the watch from the Stripe portal; the alert stops when the plan ends.
- Use the record and the check without an account, and without giving an email.
