Is ISO 37014 the same as ISO 37004?
No. ISO 37004:2023 is the published governance maturity model for groups. ISO/DIS 37014 is draft guidance on assessing and improving maturity in one kind of group, a controlled group of organizational entities, and it states that it builds on ISO 37004 and ISO 37000.
What each supplies
ISO 37000 supplies the principles and governance conditions. ISO 37004 supplies the maturity model: the three aspects, the measurement framework, the six-point scale and the aggregation rule. The draft applies that model to the controlled-group case and adds the terms and the worked example.
